2026 Spring travel SEASON
Get ready for an out-of-this-world experience!
The Youth Spacemen Spring Travel Season includes practices, games, and tournaments designed to elevate your player’s skills. Practices will focus on small area games and essential game concepts such as breakout skills, forechecking, offensive and defensive zone tactics, and special teams. Our professional coaching staff will lead practices and assign coaches for tournament play. Each player will receive a jersey, a set of socks, 6 practices, and 2 tournaments, with full ice time for U8.

FEES:
Tryouts: $25 per player – register in advance
Tryout fee goes towards team fees for players who earn a spot on the team

Cameron Wirick
Cameron wears many hats – and wears them well! He’s the Head Coach of the Spacemen Elite team and the Hockey Director at PSM Icehouse. His journey through junior and college hockey, culminating in a degree from Indiana Tech, has prepared him perfectly for molding our teenage players into true athletes.

Kyle Callahan
Kyle is a Fort Wayne native that grew up playing here before moving up to Michigan to play at 16U. He then went on to play college hockey at Trine University where he graduated in 2022. Kyle is currently the coach of our 2013 Blue Travel team that has had a ton of success.

Dylan Janiszewski
Dylan comes from a family with a rich hockey background in Fort Wayne. He played in Fort Wayne growing up on some of our top travel teams and won two high school state championships with Carroll High School during his time playing. He has shown a love for coaching and giving back to the community and the game.
16U/18U
Jared Lamothe
Jared Lamothe grew up playing hockey at PSM Icehouse and has carried that lifelong connection into coaching. A former NCAA Division III player, Jared brings years of experience on the ice and a strong passion for skill development. He is dedicated to helping young players grow their confidence, hockey IQ, and love for the game, while also serving as an assistant coach for the Fort Wayne Spacemen.
