PSM Icehouse renamed Rink 1 to Rink 47 in honor of Braydin Lewis, a beloved local hockey player who passed away in April 2023 after a courageous battle with glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. Braydin, a native of Angola, Indiana, began his hockey journey at the age of 3 and advanced to play junior hockey with the Metro Jets in Mount Clemens, Michigan. He was the son of former Fort Wayne Komets player Adam Lewis.
