CORE SKILLS CAMP
JUNE 2 – 6 | Build Your Hockey Foundation!
Days: Monday to Friday
Taught by our Icehouse Hockey staff, this Camp emphasizes edges, acceleration, agility, balance, and efficiency for players aiming to excel in leagues or enhance their skills for competitive play. Skating is crucial, but we also focus on passing, shooting, stickhandling, and scoring to create a well-rounded training experience.

Powerskating offers players a chance to improve their skills and establish a solid base for reaching their goals by focusing on posture, edge control, balance, stride, and change of direction. Lessons are held in a positive, disciplined setting that inspires players to challenge themselves and their teammates to get better each day.

Passing and Receiving Camp offers players a chance to master the art of passing. This high-intensity camp focuses on the critical aspects of puck control, decision-making, and offensive creativity. Players will develop hockey IQ, making faster, smarter decisions in high-stress situations.

P13 Summer CAMP
June 23 – 27

P13 Hockey Summer Camp is an intensive training program that elevates players’ skills both on and off the ice. This camp offers over 10 hours of on-ice training, complemented by comprehensive off-ice sessions focusing on stick handling, shooting, agility, flexibility, and strength training. Players benefit from professional coaching by current and former Komet players, providing a unique learning experience. As part of the camp perks, participants receive an exclusive camp jersey and t-shirt. Registration is available online at www.p13hockey.com. Deadline of May 23, 2025.

ALL GIRLS CAMP
July 7 – 11 | Empowering Girls on Ice

Join us at Icehouse Hockey Academy this summer for our All-Girls Hockey Camp! Open to girls aged 6-16, regardless of position. Bring your own gear. Improve skills and apply them in game scenarios. Skaters grouped by age for tailored instruction. Camp includes On and Off-Ice skill development, Individual skills training, shooting, passing, and skating, Power skating and edge development.

DEFENSIVE CONCEPTS CAMP
July 14 – 18 | ELEVATE YOUR Defensive Game
Days: Monday to Friday
This camp is designed to develop crucial defensive skills through creative and demanding drills, preparing players for real game situations. Angling to take time and space away from opponents will be a focus point during this intensive defensive camp. Players will learn gap control, angling, body contact, and proper stick details.

FUTURE SPACEMEN CAMP
July 21 – July 25 | Live the Junior Hockey Dream!
Days: Monday to Friday
Experience what it’s like to train, play, and live like a Fort Wayne Spacemen junior hockey player! This immersive camp gives players a taste of the junior hockey lifestyle while helping them develop their skills both on and off the ice.
Development highlights
On-Ice Training:
Drills tailored to each player’s skill level, focusing on skating, hockey IQ, puck handling, and passing/receiving. Small-area games and battle drills will create a competitive environment to enhance quick decision-making and puck protection skills.
Daily Video Sessions:
Players will watch video breakdowns of elite hockey players to learn good habits and techniques. These sessions will emphasize positioning, awareness, and how to elevate their game.
BONUS: Private Video Sessions
Players can book private 15-minute video sessions with one of our lead coaches for personalized feedback. Cost is $15 per session (maximum of 4 sessions per coach per day, Monday through Thursday).
Off-Ice Warm-Up Techniques:
Players will learn proper and efficient off-ice warm-up routines to prepare their bodies for peak performance on the ice. These routines focus on mobility, injury prevention, and readiness.
Physical Fitness Workouts:
Strength and flexibility workouts designed to enhance athletic performance. These sessions focus on building core strength, endurance, and agility to support players’ overall development.
Off-Ice Stick & Puck Drills:
Fun and engaging drills to improve puck-handling skills off the ice. The week culminates in a stick-and-puck skills competition on Friday!
Friday: Future Spacemen Black VS. Orange Gameday
Players will experience an authentic Spacemen gameday! They are encouraged to arrive in a polo shirt and slacks (workout clothes and shoes should also be brought). The day begins with an off-ice warm-up followed by a morning skate to prepare for the big game in the afternoon.
The game will feature player introductions under the lights, just like during the Spacemen season! A shootout competition will also take place, with coaches awarding prizes for the most creative shootout goals. Parents are strongly encouraged to attend and cheer on their skaters!
wrap up party & Awards Ceremony
After the Black vs. Orange game, players and parents are invited upstairs at the Icehouse for a wrap-up party and award ceremony from 3–4 PM. Pizza and drinks will be provided as we celebrate an incredible week of hockey development!

Days: Monday to Friday
This camp is perfect for players who enjoy competition! Skaters will participate in intense drills and games, learning essential skills like puck control, angling, and battling along the boards. Players 11 and older can also practice checking drills. The class aims to help skaters push their limits and play the game safely.

GOALIE development Series
August 2, 9, 16, 23
Days: Saturdays
Our Goalie Pre-Season Development Series will be held over four Saturday sessions, each lasting 4 hours. Each session will include 2 hours of ice time and dryland and off-ice training. This series is designed to build progressively from session to session, reinforcing key areas such as stance, movement, balance, agility, butterfly technique, angles, and skating, as well as game situations. Off-ice sessions will include stretching, hand-eye coordination, tracking, agility, and video review to help elevate your game before stepping onto the ice. Goalies will focus on improving overall performance and technique in preparation for the upcoming season.
This series is tailored to goalies 8U and above with some experience playing goalie, and is not intended for those just learning or wanting to try the goalie position.
