3:10PM | Opening Ceremony

Kick off the PSM Icehouse Winter Games in true Olympic-inspired fashion! Skaters will glide onto the ice to upbeat, ceremonial music as we begin a festive lap together — a colorful, spirited start to an afternoon of community, movement, and winter fun.

Participants in the Future Champions Ice Breaker Clinic – Try Skating Free should register in advance and will be guided to their designated area at this time.

3:20PM | Future Champions Ice Breaker Clinic – Try Skating Free

The Future Champions Ice Breaker Clinic gives new skaters a fun, confidence-building introduction to the ice with simple tips, guided support, and friendly instruction. It’s the perfect way to take your first glide during our Winter Games event. *Note skaters must register in advance for this free event. 

3:50PM | Figure Skating Performance

Enjoy a short exhibition from one of our talented local figure skaters — a perfect showcase of grace, skill, and inspiration!

3:55PM | Learn to Spin Mini Clinic

Ever wondered how skaters spin so smoothly? Join our PSM Skating Academy instructors for a quick, interactive “Learn to Spin” mini clinic — fun for kids, parents, and photo ops alike!

4:10PM | Hockey Skills Challenge

Time to test your shot! Step up for our shot-accuracy contest and see if you can hit the target like the pros. 🏒🥅

4:25PM | Speed & Relay Games

Get ready for some fast and friendly competition!

Skate Aid Races – all ages and abilities welcome 🧊

Blue Line-to-Blue Line Relay – two-person teams 

Fastest Around the Rink Contest – one lap, one winner, lots of applause! ⏱️
Prizes awarded for winners and great sportsmanship!

5:00PM | Closing Ceremony Group Skate

Finish strong with a full-ice group skate to closing music — flags waving, lights glowing, and smiles all around. Everyone receives a prize for participation and spirit!
