Welcome to Winona Lake Learn to Skate!
PSM Icehouse is excited to partner with Winona Lake to bring introductory skating programs to the beautiful Miller Sunset Pavilion this winter. Whether you’re stepping on the ice for the very first time or looking to build strong foundational skills, our Learn to Skate programs offer a fun, supportive, and confidence-building experience for all ages.
All classes are led by certified PSM Icehouse instructors, following the official Learn to Skate USA curriculum.

Give skating a try — at no cost!
Try Skating for Free is a great way for new skaters to get comfortable on the ice with guidance from our friendly instructors. No experience is needed, and the session includes both instruction and time to explore the ice at your own pace.
What’s Included
- 30-minute group lesson
- 30-minute free skate practice
- Instructor support on the ice
- A fun, welcoming atmosphere for first-time skaters
Space is limited and preregistration is required.

LEARN TO SKATE

Our 8-week Learn to Skate program teaches the fundamentals of balance, control, and confidence on the ice. Following the Learn to Skate USA curriculum, skaters develop proper form and essential skating skills that prepare them for recreational skating, figure skating, or hockey.
PROGRAM FORMAT
Each weekly class includes:
- 30 minutes of professional instruction
- 30 minutes of free skate practice
This blended structure gives skaters time to learn, apply, and build confidence at their own pace.

- Skaters continuing from Try Skating Free
- Families looking for a fun weekly activity
- Children and adults of all ages
Program levels offered may vary (Hockey, Snowplow Sam, Basic Skills, etc.) based on enrollment.
