SUMMARY:Power Skating Camp
DESCRIPTION:Power Skating Camp\n\n\n\n\nJune 29 – July 2\n\n\n4 DAYS | FULL DAY \n\n\n\n\nAge: U8–U14\nPrerequisite: Fundamental puck and game skills\nFeaturing: Coach Cam Wirick\nFee: $365\nPlease Note: Camps are non-refundable\n \n\n\n\n\nStronger Movement. Smarter Skating.\n\n\n\n\nPower Skating Camp is designed for players who want to become more efficient\, confident\, and controlled in their movement. Skating impacts every part of the game\, and this camp focuses on helping players improve how they move — not just how fast they skate. \nPlayers receive detailed instruction on stride mechanics\, edge control\, balance\, posture\, acceleration\, and change of direction. Each session is structured to build strong habits through repetition and guided correction\, allowing players to feel and understand proper technique. Skills are reinforced through movement-based drills that challenge players while keeping them engaged and progressing. \nThis camp is led by Icehouse Hockey Director Cam Wirick\, who brings a clear development framework and a strong understanding of how skating skills translate to game performance. Under his guidance\, players gain a better understanding of their movement and leave the camp skating with greater confidence and efficiency.

SUMMARY:Defensive Skills & Angling Camp
DESCRIPTION:5 DAYS | FULL DAY \n\n\n\n\nAge: U12–U16\nPrerequisite: Force Green Travel or Higher\nFeaturing: Coach Jared Lamothe\nFee: $460\nPlease Note: Camps are non-refundable \n\n\n\n\nWhere Positioning Meets Purpose.\n\n\n\n\nThis camp is designed to help players develop confidence and consistency in defensive situations by teaching them how to manage space and control play before it becomes dangerous. Players learn core defensive concepts such as gap control\, angling\, body positioning\, and stick detail\, all within structured drills that mirror real game situations. The focus is on understanding when and how to apply defensive skills\, not just executing them in isolation. \nThrough competitive drills and controlled game scenarios\, players are challenged to read plays\, make smart decisions under pressure\, and take away time and space effectively. Instruction emphasizes calm\, composed defending that allows players to stay in control while competing with confidence. By the end of the week\, players leave with a clearer understanding of defensive responsibilities and how to apply these concepts in live game play.
